We are a strongly committed team helping to offer dignity and hope to people in need caught up in the unending humanitarian crisis of displaced people escaping war, persecution, and natural disaster. Attika Human Support runs a large warehouse in Athens to receive and distribute incoming aid donations. We play a vital role in the distribution of humanitarian aid across Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Corinth, Lesvos, Chios, Samos, and Kos. Displaced people, often with little personal belongings, need dry clothes and shoes, warm blankets, shelter, food, water, personal hygiene items along with baby needs, especially diapers. ​ Donors who send aid; NFI, dried and tinned food, and medical supplies to Greece often ship directly to Attika. The Attika team then sorts, delivers, or arranges collection for our partner NGOs who in turn distributes directly as part of their own assistance programs. As with most teams we also support those in need on our own team. Our community volunteers are supported with medical and legal aid, food and housing as required.
